We ended up meeting through my brother! Him and my wife were friends and used to come over to our house all the time. One day I decided to get the courage to ask her out and thankfully she excitedly said, "yes." Our beginning was rough, because of outside interference, so we were always fighting, even though we were still determined to be together. Even though several people said we'd only be together for maybe 2 years, we've been together for 30 years now and married for 26. We rarely fight anymore and have still had people thinking we're in our honeymoon phase, even as long as we've been together. To this day, neither of us can hardly stand to be away from the other and just the fact of work getting in the way seems to make it harder.

About 37 years ago I worked for a cleaning service company & Lesley started working there shortly after. Less than a year ago, I met Alberto through mutual friends when in Las Vegas. We barely talked that night but added each other on Instagram the next day. I am 44 years old. I have 3 amazing kids. My daughter is my best friend and biggest cheerleader in my life. About 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with a very rare condition that is debilitating & deadly. I was also diagnosed with a few other illnesses that are just as torturous. I am hospitalized often & I have clinically died 6 times.

I met Manuel on December 26, 2023, while we were playing Lethal Company. It was totally unexpected—we were just gaming, but we clicked right away. We started talking more and more after that, and it honestly felt so natural and easy to be around him, even virtually.

After a few months of getting to know each other and realizing how strong our connection was, we made it official on June 2, 2024. That's when we became a couple, and it's been the best decision. We've supported each other through everything, and our relationship has only grown deeper.

Then, on February 28, 2025, he proposed! It was over a call, super sweet—he invited me to Texas Roadhouse and told me he had a surprise… and it was a ring. I cried, of course. I was just so overwhelmed with love and happiness.
